I’m an autistic artist and creativity has become one of the biggest ways I process life, emotion and routine.
A lot of my work is built around feeling things deeply — grief, nostalgia, growth, connection, overwhelm — and turning those feelings into something visual instead of keeping it all in my head.
Because of my autism, I can take longer to settle into spaces and around people, but art has always been where I feel most understood and present. I find comfort in structure, routines, details and creating with meaning behind it.
My routine these days is built around personal growth, art, reading, reflection and learning to slow life down a bit more. I’ve realised I work best when I protect my peace and create from a genuine place rather than trying to fit in.
A lot of the pieces I make carry personal meaning, memories and emotion behind them — that’s what makes creating feel real to me.
This page is more than just art. It’s a reflection of how I see and experience the world.
